The Great Morass…..

We took time today to visit this salt marsh area that is at the back of the 7 mile beach. It was good to witness a precious ecosystem that has mostly been left untouched. You can’t walk through it because of the Cutting Grass and perhaps that is for the best, because the crab holes there are massive. Whatever can grow tall wins, or whatever can grow on tall things there will thrive. Cows seem to wander through it at will though….

Where has the winter cold gone?….

Negril

Assisting Noah Karrasch is good fun and now we have a shared love of pina coladas and jerk chicken…

Negril, Jamaica is a good place to take a break from the London winter.

This is the temporary office….

Our ‘office’ is indoors/outdoors and it is surrounded by bamboo and the sound of wildlife. It is temporary, but it makes a welcome break from the London winter…..

Spring has sprung at the Wren Clinic

Spring has definitely sprung and the garden is beginning to flower. The smell of the Hyacinth bulbs in the garden have been wafting through the window. At lunchtime, more people come to spend time now in this peaceful place now that the weather is changing. After receiving Shiatsu, it’s wonderful to take a bit of time and go and sit in the sun in our garden.

Shiatsu in Crete

My Greek is slowly taking form, because as some of you know, I aim to be practising Shiatsu in Crete too. My Satyananda yoga training takes place in Greece too. Although most of it is translated, it’s lovely to sit in the orange grove at the Satyananda centre having a coffee and sharing conversation. My French patients have been teaching me French phrases too, so soon I should be able to say ‘breathe in, breathe out’ in several languages.
